people they fall apart

So, last night I dreamt primarily of Maedhros and Fingon. They were arguing, trying to decide what (a very young) Elrond should wear for some ceremony or other. (I do not recall what.) I suppose Elrond was sort of there. But he was quiet and just sat on the bed watching his elders argue.

Fingolfin also had a cameo appearance. He told them the first outfit they picked out was not appropriate for an elfling of Elrond's heritage. Maglor was also there long enough to shake his head at the antics.

There was also definitely some underlying romantic tension between Maedhros and Fingon, but they were trying to behave for Elrond's sake.



All in all it was a very silly dream. At least what I recall of it.


(Although it may be a sign to lay off the Tolkien for a while...)

(no subject)

There was a group in at work today from a university in upper New York state. Apparantly they're planning on eating at our cafe twice more as well. It was so nice to talk to someone with a similar accent to mine! Not to mention that we actually know of some of the same places. And the teacher had actually been to Ottawa, so I chatted with her for a little while she was paying.

So yeah, today was kind of nice. Even if I did end up working pretty late. (And will again tomorrow...)



The mixing on the english version of this song is much nicer, I've got to admit...
