I'm reading George Orwell's 1984 right now, and it seems I've got three lines from a Bowie song stuck in my head on repeat because of it.

Because of all we've seen
Because of all we've said
We are the dead

Admittedly, We Are the Dead -was- written at least partially based on the novel. (As well as a few other songs on Diamond Dogs, but anyway.) Still, you'd think I'd get more of it or more of the related songs in my head together. Not just those three lines.

They do make a lot more sense now, though.
