this and that: safe and well

Still in Toronto. Will be home Wednesday. I... seem to have run out of battery on my mobile and forgot to bring my charger. Oops. I saw two weird things on my way up here: 1) a convoy of old Volkswagons. 3 vans and like 8 beetles. 2) a dead bird, in a midflight pose, at the top of a tree. Too weird.
