I have to say the flist is certainly entertaining tonight. A couple rather lively discussions over at [livejournal.com profile] gacktxhyde, as well as an absolutely fabulous set of vignettes written by [livejournal.com profile] nekochancutecat.

This rather entertaining parody of anime was found in $ka's LJ. She was horrified, I was amused... it features bunnies! :D

I'm eating cappacino flavoured frozen yogurt right now. It's really really tasty. It has like chunks of chocolate covered coffee beans. (which are amazing on their own)

We went out to supper with my cousin (who arrived four hours early today o.O) earlier. Chinese food. And it was really good chinese food. My fortune cookie lied to me, though. And then I ate my mom's cookie and it insulted me.

Novel? :D :D

...and how did your mom's fortune cookie insult you, nutmeg? *wants to hear this story* XDXDXD

And~ I read your response to the post that essentially insulted Gackt and Hyde--I think that you handled it exceptionally well and what you wrote was just... amazingly put. =^^=

Novel? :D :D

...maybe. I'm going over ideas and contemplating what I'm getting myself into. x_x;;

It told me that "With youth and beauty, wisdom is not always present." My mom is on the atkins diet, so never eats her fortune cookies, so she always gives them to me. Thus, two fortunes.

My own fortune said I never lied, or was deceitful or petty. (paraphrasing as I don't remember exactly). Considering I lie constantly to my mother, live two lives (home and friends) and can hold a grudge pretty badly against anyone who insults one of my friends... yeah. LYING COOKIE.

Yeah. I don't know if you read her response and my response to that. Basically she insulted me and ranted about how burning crosses is an insult. -_-;; bloody hell. Don't like it? Don't watch it. And certainly don't bitch about it in a community where everyone there supports the person you're trying to put down.

Agreed, novels are a lot of work. I've tried a few times to write various different novels, but have never been able to go past the sixth chapter. (I get bored and distracted to easily.)

XDXDXD You know what? That whole incident (or something similar to it) would make such a funny GakuHai fic. And I already know the perfect title for it, too. "Cookie Nookie." *blinks innocently*

Hmmm... maybe, instead of lying, your fortune cookies were trying to send you subliminal message. Hey, it could happen~

Gack. x_x;; I know what you mean. The longest chaptered story I've ever been able to work on before I got bored ended up being 17 chapters long. But I haven't updated it since July and... meh~ Reading past chapters makes me want to cry--the writing is so atrocious.

But, yes! That's why one-shots are better! *smiles gamely at nutmeg* :-D

You have my permission to use the idea. Heavens know I couldn't possibly turn it into anything decent.

Yes. That is why one of my novel attempts was deleted (except the prologue, which seems to be in my writing journal) and the other is sitting at the bottom of my closet somewhere.

One shots are even better when you have a whole bunch of them put together in a collection so they're the length of a novel. >.>

*amused* If I do end up writing that, it'll probably be sometime this week. Just... need to find time to do so. ^^;;

Doot dee doo~ *wanders over to your writing journal and pointedly friends it* Thus, now I'd be able to bluntly tell you that your writing does not suck. And I'll be right. *nods*

XD I like doing that when I'm supposed to be updating chaptered stories. Some reviewers get really, really mad about that--"Why are you putting up one-shots when you're supposed to be working on _____?!"--and yet~ they have yet to realize that I do it on purpose. XD *sadistic*

I admit in my lj that watching that whole gakuhai thing was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me - so call me a brat that I'm glad it wasn't deleted XD (I guess with the terrible tragedy in the world - I find fandrama supporting/trashing the dopey, lovable, geeky thing that is Gakuhai. . . a diversion)

& yes! Nekochan's vignettes were so much fun to read -

I had... mixed feelings on it. It's a good thing to get the fandom to stop and think why they support and like such a thing, and there's nothing wrong with poking fun at the boys, but I'm not really sure if that was exactly the best way to go about doing it. As much as I love to be an attention whore... I really don't like drama. And that poor girl set herself up for it badly.

Yeah, I know. Neko's so talented. And, now, Luce and I have convinced her to do a gakuhai novel, so we're rather excited. ^^
