For those who don't know, Ontario has a graduated driver's licensing system. I just booked my test for the last level of that. So. On the 19th, I will be trying for my permanent license.

I'm terrified. I've been putting this off for months.


Mind, I probably will get it, as I've been told I'm a fairly good driver and then I will be very happy and relieved.

You are a good driver. :p You shouldn't be worried about it at all.

You can fail if you don't shoulder check enough. But that doesn't mean normal shoulder checking like I do. It means super-exagerrated so they can see shoulder checking. There are also a lot of really stupid things that can fail you instantly. I know someone who failed because she stopped for a pedestrian but they waved her to keep going. So. Yeah. I've heard bad things.

Go to Smith Falls for it. It's easier and you'll get a test sooner.

Hmm, really? Okay, maybe I'll try that. As soon as my parents think I've gotten "enough" practice. :p No idea when that will be, as they've been putting it off for several weeks now.

Especially since you already know about the shoulder-check thing.. shoulder check for everything and make sure they know you're doing it!

Another thing I was told you can do is to talk to the examiner, and just explain what you're doing like a self narration.
