About ten minutes ago, I nearly died.
Let's just say wet roads and 12 year old breaks do not a happy couple make.
(Un?)fortunately, I am a decent enough driver that instead of ending halfway through the busy intersection, I was merely sideways in the two lanes of the road on my side. Light changed and I went on like nothing happened.
I have too many near-death/dangerous experiences for my own good... yet I'm in no rush to change it. If I didn't know better, I'd say I was hoping one of these times to lose the 'near' part of that experience.
On a brighter note, package from Helayne came today. (My goodness, that was quick! And thank you so much. This thing is massive! :O) Guess that means whoever was eating my mail in Canada Post has stopped doing it.

on 2004-06-01 01:04 pm (UTC)Sometimes I don't want to either, I itch under my skin. But even if our whole lives are just a great cosmic joke, at least we have them. It's something, anyway. :)
