gnutmegI have recently discovered that no matter how much I like the premise of a community, I just can't join if a- I don't like (one of) the mod(s) or b- it smells like a fangirl breeding ground.
...or c- their rules look suspiciously like they copied the rules off of one of my communities, and only just slightly rewrote it in their own words. (Or even worse, they didn't bother with their own words.)
God, I can be such a snob, sometimes. >.
