nutmeg's had an entertaining and busy day today. Because I am lazy, you will now get the break down in point form:
  • changed the sheets on my bed

  • attempted to chat with nyde on AIM, but she kept getting booted, so I don't know if any of my side got through to her

  • completely took apart an old toy box (made a game of it; 'how many different types of screws can you find?' there were 5 types)

  • took apart a broken stool

  • helped mom put up all the christmas decorations around the house

  • made 12 desktop icon sets for TnK (113 desktop icons >.>)

  • got to go out for supper at Outback but only ate half my dinner (I used to be hungry still after eating a whole meal from there, my appetite is seriously gone ._.)

  • re-learned (as I had forgotten) that [livejournal.com profile] _arodnap_'s family is moving to Europe this summer. $ka, you can't leave me~ T_T

  • went to Chapters and convinced dad to get me books one and two of a manga called "Doll" that I was thumbing through. It looked cool, and is now an xxx-mas present

  • was miffed because they only had book 3 of Angel Sanctuary and I don't have any of the other books

  • also miffed at severe lack of Oh My Goddess! graphic novels.

  • wanted the Hello Kitty! 2005 calendar, but mom just kind of stared at me when I showed it to her. Then I got distracted by the trading spaces calendar

  • passed through the Starbucks on the way out of Chapters (all Chapters have Starbucks inside) and got a caramel macchiatto(?sp) Yum.

  • am now home and updating my LJ

  • definitely not going to that party tonight, the weather is ick and I'm not up for drinking

Aww. Well, if my parents do move I'll be staying here for most of the year (most likely) in the residence of my good old university, so I'll still be around. And when it doubt I can always kidnap you and drag you to the Netherlands with me.

I will visit at least, yes. (An excuse to visit Europe? Count me in!) :)

I burned myself on a light today, so I'm not so fond of them at the moment. >.>

I see. Well, I also fell down from a stool when we were putting up decorations in our gate. ^__^

In our house, it mostly consists of me staring at things and asking where we had them last year or else yelling at my brother to either help or get out of the way.

I really recommend going to The Comic Book Shoppe (http://www.thecomicbookshoppe.com/) for manga and related stuff :) They have a store on Merivale and on Bank St. and you can rent VHS/DVDs of anime too!

I've been to the one on Merivale a number of times, that's where I got most of my OMG manga, actually. In fact... it's probably not safe to admit how much money I've spent there. >.>
