I really shouldn't be allowed to interact with children anymore. Anyway.

Why is it whenever you ask children to act out their favourite animal, you usually get a room full of puppies, cats (both wild and domestic), and ponies? What ever happened to the children who liked animals like (oh I don't know) eagles, crabs or maybe starfish?! I mean, there's a lot of really cool animals out there. Do kids just not know about these to have them be favourites? And what if there was a child who decided that, say, a sea cucumber was his or her favourite? How do you pretend to be a sea cucumber anyway?

How's that for thought-provoking?

Hmmm.. interesting. I think that maybe they don't have as much things to help them learn about other animals.. I don;t know.. But I know my favorite was a elephant. So I would always act that out when we were asked. Hmm I guess it is tv.. or books that their parents get them.

That's sad. We should not limit the imaginiations of children.
