Wow. CDJapan totally just charged me $50 in shipping for 7 CDs. This is why I don't usually buy from them. (Long story short, birthday present from parents was me picking out a bunch of albums from CDJapan that they'd pay for.) So, suddenly, $110US (which is, sadly, a reasonable birthday gift price in my house) becomes $160US... Aiya. I guess birthday money from grandparents can go towards that too. Then again, my parents might just let it go since I have had more expensive gifts other years. But I feel kind of guilty about that, so... I guess we'll see.

In other news, I just got my schedule for the next month. I work pretty much every night but one until May 10, and then I only have 3 shifts after that. Uh. Yeah. All the nights I'm working over the next while is the Alberta Scene stuff, which is kind of nuts, but anyway. I'll be spending a lot of time downtown for the next two weeks, it seems. At least I'll (sort of) be doing something I enjoy and getting paid for it.

>.> Ok, I just checked. It's about $200CAN for my birthday thing. Yeah. I'm going to tell them to take any bday money from the grandparents because that's waaaaaaay too much for them to spend on me. :\

o.o ... that is totally way too much in shipping. Sucks that you couldn't get that stuff at YesAsia >.< *kicks YesAsia*

Ah, YesAsia is good mostly, but they don't have a lot of indies bands and they sell out of somethings. Still, the things I ordered are worth it to me, really. I mean... some of it is stuff I've wanted for years.

I have another website if you want more indies stuff, by the way, though payment is only through uhhh I think it's international money order, I don't think they accept credit cards or anything, but they have a LOT of stuff that you might not even find at CDJapan.
