I'm mostly back now. Things should get back to relatively normal soon. How is everyone? I've missed you. :(

Meme:

1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."

1. I tend not to sleep a lot. I go to bed late, get up early... and I usually have a lot of restless sleep/nightmares.

2. I often will say "yawn" or "stretch" when I'm doing either of those activities. I'm told it's cute.

3. I have mild agoraphobia so things like crowds or talking to strangers absolutely terrify me. (And yet my chosen profession has me dealing with both all the time.) The more control I have over a situation the more comfortable I am with it.

4. I am one album short of owning every studio album Bowie's ever released. I'm pondering starting to collect his soundtracks or live albums next.

5. I've had an idea for a webcomic in the works since... oh, highschool, but have never gotten to starting it. Theoretically I should be doing it with two other people, since it's partly their idea too. Just, you know, taking the time and effort to actually sit down and draw things and scan them and yeah...

6. I have 4 packages sitting in my room waiting for me to get off my ass and mail them. (Though I do need updated mailing addresses for 2 of those.)

7. I love my crayons and colouring books. Seriously. If you ever need to distract yourself from life for a little while, they're ideal.

Tagging no one. :P 'Cause there's no rule against that.

I saw a Hello Kitty purse while shopping this weekend, and totally thought of you. :)

Which Bowie album are you missing, out of curiosity?

How are the England plans looking at the moment, Gnutmeg?

It's funny how often I hear that! :P

Tin Machine II. I'm trying to find it for less than $40, atm.

6 weeks until I'm gone. How scary and exciting is that?

yes, and I'm still beyond jealous. Are you enjoying having some time off, at least?

Dollar store, if you don't already have some. I've even found Hello Kitty colouring books at my local dollar store.

Thank you. :)

I was totally wondering where you've been last night while I was lying in bed listening to Hyde. XD

I took a tiny bit of a hiatus after we got back from our trip to deal with some personal emotional stuff.

How you holding up, hun?

How you holding up, hun?

Meh. Going back to school this year was harder than usual, seeing as (a) my summer really stank, (b) my classes are super hard, and (c) my first year of college also stank, and made me dread returning. :P

You?

I can't lie, the year I finished school I was so bloody happy. I've always gotten decent grades but I've never been a big fan of forced education. I've always felt experience was the greater teacher. (Thus why I am travelling.) But, know what? Get yourself through it. You'll feel better for it, plus those familial types will (hopefully) shut up about your education (or lack there of).

As for me... I'm doing ok. I've been better, but I'm dealing with things as they come. I know I need to take it slow right now. The past year and a half-ish nearly destroyed me, so I know better than than to think I can just get up and go.

Which one are you missing? I've been a HUGE Bowie fan for years and I'm just being nosy. ;)

Tin Machine II. I can find it on Amazon, but it's kind of weird. The one you can tell for sure is it is kinda costly. And others with the same title but are kind of questionable are at like a dollar... heh.

Ahhhh. Well, I always thought Tin Machine II was better than Tin Machine. Tracks like Betty Wrong, You Belong in Rock n' Roll, and Goodbye Mr. Ed stand out fairly well. That being said, however, it is still not one of his best albums. If you don't mind not picking up an import copy (which is what I saw mostly available at Amazon) it looks like Half.com has a number of sellers with it for a much cheaper price (just make sure you read the descriptions): Half.com (http://product.half.ebay.com/Tin-Machine-II_W0QQprZ3142705QQtgZinfo)

Just found Overstock.com (http://www.overstock.com/Books-Movies-Music-Games/TIN-MACHINE-TIN-MACHINE-II-JPN-LP-SLEEVE-LIMITED-EDITION-IMPORT/1907343/product.html) has an import version for $29.10 as opposed to Amazon's $45...
