It occurs to me that I'm going to spend the next few months with coffee grounds perpetually under my nails. I never can seem to get -all- of them out.
I sketched a picture of my Fingolfin muse. It's not great - the head is too wide, the ear too high, the lips are totally wrong, and the eyes are slightly off - but not terrible for a quick sketch, either.

The fact that it is being shared with you due to a digital camera does not help with the attractiveness of it. There's some light colour to it, but you really lose it. Ah well, at least it makes him quieter. Though he wants more, I think. It's strange to have such a noisy art muse. Ah well, maybe I'll get some really nice sketches of him that can eventually become paitings when I'm home again.
