this scenery is evergreen...
Aug. 23rd, 2008 10:12 amAs I often am, I'm left wondering what these people do when I'm not here to do everything for them.
Other than that... I'm still feeling absolutely exhausted. It's not fun. And no amount of sleep seems to be curing it. This is really annoying, as it's getting in the way of job hunting. And any other things I want to do.

on 2008-08-23 04:08 pm (UTC)I just went through my own house/apt-searching and there are a few sites (http://gally99.livejournal.com/428466.html) that did a lot of walking for me before I went out to actually look at places.

on 2008-08-24 01:17 am (UTC)Other than that, I'm sure you've already checked workopolis for stuff, but have you tried the government websites? Like Ontario (http://www.gojobs.gov.on.ca), or even the federal PWS? If you're thinking of a particular municipality, you can check with them as well.
Otherwise, pick an industry and just get your foot in the door. There are a lot of call centers (some not as good as others for advacement outside of the call center) and head offices in Toronto. Lots of banks - you could start off as a teller? (http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/Intro_en.aspx) ()
