gnutmeg1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Lived on my own in my own flat, travelled on my own.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? ...if I had one, I don't recall what it was.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Tiff & Tara's sister. Laura. Tania.
4. Did anyone close to you die? All 3 of our rabbits.
5. What countries did you visit? England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Belgium.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? An S.O. A flat -in Canada-.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Probably no exact dates, since my memory sucks, but all my various trips, my birthday in Holland, seeing stonehenge.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Paying off all my debt within two months of returning to Canada.
9. What was your biggest failure? Not finding a good job and moving out of my parents' house as soon as I returned to the country.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I had that... fluish thing that knocked me out for about two weeks in England. And, you know, that mental thing I've been fighting with.
11. What was the best thing you bought? The tickets for my various trips. My pink laptop.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? So many people. Especially those who did things like helping me remember to eat and sleep properly.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? My family.
14. Where did most of your money go? Travelling, food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Various trips, seeing my friends again after being away, seeing Emilie Autumn.
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? I think just about anything by Anouk, Sara Bareilles, or Kate Nash, since I discovered them this year.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier.
b) thinner or fatter? I lost 10lbs in England but gained it back in Canada D:
c) richer or poorer? Richer. Yey for employment!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Travelling, socializing.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Wasting money.
20. How did you spend Christmas? With my family. Wii and then to aunt Jo's for dinner.
