So my car wouldn't start yesterday, as I discovered when I tried to leave for work. (The battery worked, but the engine wouldn't turn over.) That made me exceedingly displeased. Possibly had something to do with the -30C weather we got yesterday. I ended up taking my sister's car to work. (Which was okay, though I don't particularly care for her corolla) We've had it plugged in, to warm it up, since yesterday afternoon so hopefully it'll be working again today. I haven't checked, yet, but I do need to hit the bank at some point today.

And I'm kind of annoyed that I can't get either the Jeff Lynne or Anouk albums I want from work. Boo. What kind of CD store are we that don't carry half the stuff I want?

I was talking to my boss the other day about block heaters and how in Winnipeg everyone has one and everyone always has their car plugged in at night and how I just always thought that every car came with a block heater everywhere....except maybe Florida. It is something a revelation to me that they are optional in other places that don't regularly experiences -20 weather and that people don't always have their cars plugged in overnight!

Good luck with your vehicular transport!

Yeah, my mom asked me "does your car have a plug" yesterday and it never occurred to me that it might not. I mean, it's never really been cold enough here before to need it, but I just assumed it did since all cars did back home in Saskatchewan.
