Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.
1: Music - I've been in love with music for nearly as long as I can remember. I was 6 or 7 when I started playing organ. 10 for clarinet. I got my first CD at age 9. It was a collection of Beethoven works. As a child, my favourite bands were the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones and the Monkees. I discovered David Bowie at 16 and it determined the path my life would take. I went to uni for music, for a year and a half until I realized I didn't want to be a music teacher. I currently work in music retail, and though I don't plan to stay there, I do feel I wouldn't be able to work anywhere that I didn't have music to listen to for the whole day.
2: J-pop - I never know where to start when talking about my love of Japanese music. I guess you can say I "officially" started listening to it about the same time I got an LJ. I mean, I'd been listening to anime soundtracks and music since I was 13, but it never occurred to me in all those years that there might be a bigger music scene behind it. (I can be a little blonde sometimes...) To be honest, you can blame Ruby for a lot of it. She was directly responsible for me discovering HYDE, speena, and OLIVIA among countless others.
3: Sewing - I love to sew, when I have the time and energy to do so. The things I make most often are costumes, stuffed toys, pillows/pillow covers, and lately I've been learning to quilt. I'm not an expert, certainly, and someone really needs to show me how to properly edge things but I really enjoy it. My bag that I usually wear (and is finally being retired once I finish the new one) is the project I've received the most compliments on. My Sailor ChibiMoon costume is second.
4: BJD - Ah, dolls. It's a poorly kept secret that I've finally gotten my hands on two gorgeous BJD for Christmas (John will always have my love for that gift!). I've always been a doll lover/collector. I think I got my first porcelain doll when I was 5. I have almost 2 dozen now. I also have a small collection of wooden clown dolls, and a handmade rag doll give to me by a friend at camp. My BJD are definitely the pride of my collection now, though. I have to admit, they are named Nolofinwe and Anaire. (Yes, they are elves, yes, I'm working on dressing them appropriately.) I just wish it wasn't such an expensive hobby to dress them. But! I do have some nice sewing patterns now...
5: Hello Kitty - This is just a small obsession. Really. Unlike most people who just like her for the cute, I actually really respect HK as a marketing symbol. I mean, seriously think about it. How many brand names are so well known that you can get them on everything from toasters to socks to writing paper to hair dryers to sewing machines to bleeding sex toys? Honestly. HK is my business inspiration, and I did in fact fall in love with her while I was in business college. First year. I used to be one of those people who kind of scoffed and thought it was silly. (Consider that a warning to all! lol)

I have 2 Bobobie MSD Elves. (Song & Ju models) I'm just really starting to get clothing and such for them, so I haven't posted a lot about them. I'm also sort of learning to make them clothing, which I think is really the more fun thing for me.
