Because this is SO related to the 4.5 hours of history I just escaped

basic algebra :D

a + b + c = 0
2a - a + 2b - b + 2c - c = 0
2(a + b + c) - 1(a + b + c) = 0
2(a + b + c) = 1(a + b + c)
2 = 1

Prove me wrong, kiddies, prove me wrong.

Do you? Ok. How'm I wrong?

If a+b+c = 0, and in the final step you're dividing both sides by a+b+c, it cannot be done as you cannot divide anything by zero.

Or something. The smart people had it in five minutes.
