(no subject)

The cafe was super busy, and there was only 3 of us so we were all running around trying to get everything done. I definitely made a few mistakes, I mean it was only my second shift, but it was pretty good over all.

I'm tired, though. I never realized how much more physically demanding waitressing was over retail. I think I'm starting to miss my old job. A 5 hour shift at this job takes as much out of me as the 10 hour shifts there did. I suspect it'll get better as I get used to it and as I know the restaurant better, but until then... aiya!

I'm working again tomorrow, which is supposed to be as busy as it was today except that there'll be more staff on. I don't have a finish time tomorrow, though, I suspect I'll just get sent home as things start to get quiter.


I did pour my first beer today, though. Our taps (like much of the cafe) certainly have personalities of their own!
