Mar. 15th, 2008 10:15 amI woke up this morning with a sudden jolt because I couldn't remember who, where, or what I was.

The "support the independant business (wo)man!!" part of my brain is ashamed to admit that my favourite cafe here in Bath is, indeed, a corporate one. It's a little Thornton's cafe, about one of their shops. What can I say? Good drinks, good treats and a free luxury chocolate? What girl wouldn't be sold? Mind, I'm not a huge fan of chocolate but I do like one once in a while, and theirs are damned good.
For the record, I had a spiced chai latte and one of their toffee tarts, which are so rich that I may not be able to eat again ever after eating a whole one. If you ever get a chance to try one, bring a friend or don't eat all day before hand. x.x (That's what I opted for.)
So, yes, I also went out to the library and did a little shopping at the market. (My favourite veggie stand was out today and I got a crapload of broccoli and sweet potatoes for L2/$4!) Went to the post office, only to realize it closes at bloody 12:30 on Saturdays. Ah well, I'll go on Monday! I did make it to the bank, though. My money situation is pretty happy again, now that mum & dad have given me a bit of a loan. I noticed that a few of the places I gave my CV to still have "help wanted" signs but haven't called me. Boo!
