I had a strange but gratifying experience today.


The bus driver recognized my accent as Canadian straight off. Hah! Not only that, but we talked about it for a bit because, it seems, he is moving to Brampton in the near future. Which probably means little to most of you, but my Ontario girls know that is quite close to home.


He was a total sweetie and it was a fun conversation. :)

did you try and dissuade him from moving to Brampton???? cause really??? Brampton???? it's the crime captital of the universe (you know, if the center of the universe is Toronto...)

I can, though I have to listen to them speak before I can decide if it's Canadian or American.
